Mama’s Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

• 3 1/2 cups cake flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 cups milk
• 4 eggs
• 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
• 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

1. Pre heat oven to 350° F.
2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt and sugar.
3. Add shortening and 1 1/3 cup of milk.
4. Add eggs, chocolate, remaining 2/3 cup of milk and vanilla.
5. Bake at 350° F for 30-35 minutes.
