Ingredients:
- 4 cups white sugar
- 1 cup Karo syrup (lite)
- 3/4 cup water
- vanilla extract
- 3 egg whites
- Nuts
Instructions:
- On medium boil, stir together sugar, Karo syrup and water only until sugar dissolves.
- Then heat to hard ball stage – DO NOT STIR.
- Beat three egg whites until frothy – only – add syrup until [word I can’t read] loses gloss.
- Add capful of vanilla extract and nuts after starts to set. (Tint same time)
- Ball out of cold water cracks in sink.
- Makes 32-42 pieces.

Grandkid Note
I remember my mom loving divinity. I can recall her excitement when I was a child at the thought of Grandma making divinity – or even at finding it on a roadside stand when traveling north.
