Cherries Jubilee

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sweet cherry juice
  • cinnamon (two shakes)
  • 1 bottle brandy (only need enough to taste)
  • 1 pkg cherries
  • 1/2 cup almond extract
  • 1 pkg vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

  1. In sauce pan, dissolve brown sugar in butter. Add cherry juice and cinnamon and cook until thickens.
  2. Add brandy (enough to taste) and cherries. When glazed add capful of [quantra?] and almond extract.
  3. Heat before hardens. Add heated brandy, ignite and spoon over ice cream.

Showtime! This recipe requires a fire permit. I personally request Dylan or Brandon to be somewhere nearby – either to light the fire or handle it like a boss.
