Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups scalded milk
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 cake yeast (2 oz – 3 pkg)
- 3 eggs
- 9 cups flour
Instructions:
- Pre heat oven to 375° F.
- Mix scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
- Add water to cool mixture to lukewarm.
- Add yeast dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water.
- Add eggs and mix in half of the flour and mix.
- Add rest of the flour with mixer.
- Chill.
- Bake at 375° F for 1 hour.
