Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup canola oil
Sauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp distilled vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Place chicken, salt, pepper, garlic salt and cornstarch in ziplock bag and coat.
- Then in egg. Then in oil.
- 2 minutes each side.
- Place pieces on baking sheet. Cover with sauce.
- Bake at 325° F for 15 minutes. Then flip and bake 15 minutes more.
